My grandmother was born and raised in Ballygarvan, and my father, Karl, now lives in Crosshaven. Though I’m originally from Meath, some of my fondest memories are of summers spent on the beach in Myrtleville, spinning around the ‘merries’ in Crosshaven and going to see Michael Jackson in Pairc Ui Caoimh. Cork has always held a special place in our hearts.
