Our Kilmainham branch opened as a proud member of the Village Vets family in 2021, when we took over from Carey & Keane Veterinary Clinic and completely overhauled and extended our building and facilities. We have four consult rooms, along with prep areas, a designated dental room, diagnostic facilities including digital and dental x-ray ultrasound, as well as an in-house lab.

We are dedicated to supporting our staff to help them provide our clients with gold standard veterinary care.

Currently Village Vets are looking for an experienced nurse to join our highly skilled team in our Village Vets Kilmainham Clinic. We are looking for one new graduate nurse and one experienced nurse. You’ll be working alongside experienced nurses, (many of whom have already completed their certificate or masters qualifications), using state of the art diagnostic and monitoring equipment, as part of a friendly and supportive team.

The Veterinary Nurse role is a vital and respected part of our team. Here you will play a pivotal role in providing top-quality care to our animal patients and ensuring excellent service to our clients.

Structured mentoring programme

For new graduates, or nurses returning after a period of absence, we offer a structured nurse mentoring programme to support and guide you through your transition into veterinary practice.

Career Progression

For experienced nurses we offer the opportunity for career progression to one of our specialty nurse positions in orthopaedics, dentistry, dermatology, cardiology, feline, exotics, hospital and head nurse positions.
