Job Summary:

The Customer Success and Business Development Manager for Pawprints Cremation will play a crucial role in providing support to clients and driving business growth. They will be responsible for driving business growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and building strong relationships within the veterinary clinics. This role involves developing and implementing business strategies, managing customer relationships, and representing the company in a professional and compassionate manner. It is primarily a nationwide role with occasional office-based work.

The Veterinary Nurse at Village Vets is a vital and respected part of our team. Here you will play a pivotal role in providing top-quality care to our animal patients and ensuring excellent service to our clients. 

Our Dundrum, South Dublin branch, joined the Village Vets family in 2013 and is well equipped with modern facilities, including three consult rooms, a dedicated dental room and separate dog and cat wards. We even play relaxing classical music to keep our cats calm, with more lively stations played to keep our dog’s company! We’re conveniently located in Apollo Business Park. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities within the veterinary & pet care industry.
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with veterinary clinics.
  • Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to expand market share.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

Customer Service:

  • Lead and oversee the customer service team and ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Develop and implement customer service standards and procedures including training client care teams within veterinary clinics.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and nurture strong customer relationships.
  • Create and implement effective training plans for CX in crematoriums for the onsite teams.

Commercial Success:

  • Develop and execute client relationship strategies to maximise revenue.
  • Monitor clinic performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Achieve commercial and training targets as well as key performance indicators KPIs.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director (MD) and Finance Business Partner (BP) to understand the key business drivers and opportunities for improvement

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3+ Years Proven experience in business development and customer service.
  • Experience in training client teams
  • Proven experience in presenting solutions
  • Strong understanding of the pet care industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficient in sales and marketing techniques and strategies
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Empathy and compassion for grieving pet owners.
